Food Network Slices The Kitchen Off the Air
The Food Network has canceled the foodie talk show, The Kitchen, after 12 years. The show will be removed from the lineup on December 13, 2025. Hosted by Sunny Anderson, Jeff Mauro, Geoffrey Zakarian and Katie Lee, The Kitchen features famous guest chefs who discuss their favorite dishes, among other topics. Hijack Lands Another Season With Premiere Date
Apple TV’s brilliant Die Hard-like thriller series, Hijack, starring Idris Elba (pictured above), has landed a season two which will premiere on January 14. In season one, Elba, who plays a negotiator, is trapped on a plane hijacked by terrorists. But in season two, the action will shift to a speeding train which is hijacked by yet another terrorist group!To learn more, click here.

Disney Clears Path For Project Runway’s Season 22
Disney announced yesterday that it has renewed the fashion competition show, Project Runway, for a 22nd season. Heidi Klum will return as the host for the new season which will debut sometime in 2026, Deadline reports.

Prison Break Gets Renewal After Long Sentence
Prison Break, the Fox chase drama which ran for five seasons more than a decade ago, has been broken out of TV jail for a new season albeit with a different cast. Hulu will air the new edition of Prison Break at an unspecified date. To learn more, click here.

Disney/Hulu Cancellations Doubled During Kimmel Kerfuffle
Antenna, the data research firm, estimates that subscription cancellations of the Disney and Hulu streaming services last month roughly doubled while late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel was suspended for controversial remarks regarding assassinated conservative leader Charlie Kirk. There was speculation that Disney would cancel the Kimmel show but he returned after six days. Antenna also found that subscriptions to Hulu and Disney increased slightly during the six-day period to help offset the cancellations. To learn more, click here.

Netflix’s The Diplomat Negotiates a Season 4
The third season of The Diplomat, Netflix’s political drama starring Keri Russell, was added to the streamer’s lineup last week. The show ends in a cliffhanger, but fans can stop worrying about whether the drama will be resolved. Netflix has already renewed The Diplomat for season four. To learn more, click here.
