It seems like it’s getting harder to hear what the characters are saying during a movie when I watch Pluto TV. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this? Does Pluto have Closed Captions? Jean, Mobile, Alabama.
Jean, before I tackle the Closed Captions part of the question, a few words about Pluto TV for those not familiar with the streaming service.
Pluto TV is a great choice for seniors looking for a wide array of content without spending any money. Yes, for those who don’t know, Pluto TV is absolutely free. The streaming service is supported by advertising, just like the old days of television. You can watch Pluto TV by downloading the Pluto app on devices such as Roku and Amazon’s Fire TV or using a web browser to go to Pluto.TV.
What’s On Pluto TV?
Pluto TV has hundreds of channels — and they are all free (albeit with the ads.).
There’s a slew of news channels such as CBS News, ABC News Live and Pluto TV News (the content is recent, but not live); a gaggle of sports channels including the NFL Channel, CBS Sports HQ, Fox Sports, and MLB, among others; and a collection of comedy channels including specialized channels for Mystery Science Theater 3000 and RiffTrax, the sequel to MSTK, starring members of the original cast. There are channels available in about dozen different categories of all kinds of genres including lots and lots of movies.
