While subscription streaming services such as HBO Max, Disney+ and Hulu continue to raise prices, the number of ad-supported free streamers continues to grow with offerings such as Pluto TV, Tubi and Amazon’s free channels on Prime Video.

Amazon Prime Video’s free lineup, which recently was moved from its now closed Freevee app, includes hundreds of channels including 48 different sports networks.

The free sports channels on Amazon include the NFL Channel, the league’s free streaming service featuring classic games and news and info shows (not be confused with the NFL Network); the MLB Channel, baseball’s free service featuring its classic games and other programming (not to be confused with the MLB Network); Fox Sports, which offers a mix of studio and news shows from the network; ESPN 8 – The Ocho, the niche sports channel inspired by the film, Dodgeball; and NBC Sports Now, which airs shows such as The Dan Patrick Show and the Dan Le Batard Show, among other NBC Sports-produced programming

As you can see, there are some serious industry heavyweights providing free programming to Amazon Prime, which makes the free lineup a great destination for cost-conscious sports fans.

You can watch the free sports channels on Amazon’s Prime Video by clicking on the Live TV banner at the top of the Prime Video app and then scrolling down to the Sports category. You don’t need a Prime membership to watch the free channels.
