Netflix to Add 25 New Shows & Movies This Week – Here Are the 3 to Watch

Netflix this week (October 5-11, 2025) plans to add 25 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

The Woman In Cabin 10 (2025)
Release Date: Friday, October 10
Keira Knightley (pictured above) stars as a journalist who’s convinced she saw a woman thrown overboard on the maiden voyage of a luxury cruise ship. The problem is, there are no passengers or crew missing. Knightley, who last shined in the Netflix spy series, Black Doves, seems ideal to play the lead here in this Hitchcockian thriller. The film’s co-stars include Guy Pearce, Kaya Scodelario, and Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso).

Victoria Beckham
Release Date: Thursday, October 9
You may know her as the wife of former soccer great, David Beckham, but Victoria Beckham is also a former Spice Girl and a fashion icon, among other credentials. This week, Netflix gives her the full spotlight with a new documentary chronicling her years as a pop star; her relationship with the aforementioned hubbie; and her breakthrough into the fashion world.

My Father, the BTK Killer
Release Date: Friday, October 10
Perhaps for true crime devotees only, the daughter of the famous serial murderer, Dennis Rader, recounts what life was like living under the roof of a two-faced cold-blooded killer. Unbeknownst to his family, Rader killed at least 10 people over a 17-year period, often with unusual brutality, even for a serial murderer. However, he did so while simultaneously serving as a Boy Scout troop leader and president of the church council. And, I can see how his daughter might have a story to tell.
