HBO Max to Add 14 New Shows & Movies This Week – Here’s the One to Watch

HBO Max this week next (September 15-21, 2025) plans to add 14 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here’s the one to watch, in my humble opinion:

Superman (2025)
Release Date: Friday, September 19
David Corenswet stars as the Man of Steel in director James Gunn’s reimagining of the Superman film series. Also written by Gunn, Superman is served up as an anti-hero who must rehabilitate his image via the help of his trusty girlfriend, played with spunk by the always spunky Rachel Brosnahan. Despite the modern spin, the movie was a box office blockbuster, amassing more than $600 million worldwide. The winning cast should get the lion’s share of the credit, including Nicholas Hoult as billionaire Lex Luthor.
