NBC News Picks Best TVs of 2025 Based On Expert Opinions
NBC News surveyed a bunch of retailers and consumer electronics analysts to get their picks for the best TVs of the year. The winner: Sony, which the experts say offer both outstanding audio and video in their sets. Other winners: Samsung TVs for design; LG for gaming; and TCL for bargain seekers.

DIRECTV App Now Available On Vizio Smart TVs
DIRECTV announced this week that it’s rolling out its streaming app to Vizio Smart TVs. With the app, Vizio Smart TV owners will be able to watch the TV provider’s streaming offerings such as Genre Packs and Signature plans via the Vizio interface. No word on when the app will be available on all Vizio Smart TV sets.
Best Buy Unveils Holiday Sale Plans
