Amazon’s Prime Video to Add 75 New Releases In June 2025 – Here Are the 3 to Watch

Amazon’s Prime Video this month (June 2025) plans to add 75 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

The Accountant 2 (2025)
Release Date: June 5
Ben Affleck (pictured above) stars as an autistic accountant who moonlights as a financial ‘cleaner’ for shady organizations in this sequel to his 2016 film, titled The Accountant. His character, who is joined here by his brother, played with characteristic over-the-top charm by Jon Bernthal, is tasked with locating a missing Salvadoran family in Los Angeles. However, an assassin may be waiting for them when they do. Lower the lights, and your expectations, and you will love this action-packed ‘popcorn movie.’ Affleck and Bernthal are so perfectly matched that it’s hard to believe they haven’t been paired before.

Deep Cover (2025) – Amazon Original Movie
Release Date: June 12
Bryce Dallas Howard and Orlando Bloom star as improv actors who are recruited by the police to participate in sting operations. I haven’t seen it yet but the trailer looks funny with enough action mixed in to maintain your interest when the jokes fall flat.

ROMCOM: Who the…Is Jason Porter – Amazon Original Documentary
Release Date: June 13

A young female real estate broker engages in a three-year romance with an online suitor only to discover he has a history of defrauding his dates. The intense doc exposes the dark side of online dating and will make you think twice the next time you click or swipe.
