DIRECTV has added ViX’s Premium plan with ads to its $34.99 a month MiEspañol Genre Pack at no extra cost to subscribers.
The ViX plan normally costs $4.99 a month if purchased separately. The ViX service includes such series as Con Esa Misma Miranda and Papa Soltero plus live sports such as this summer’s UEFA Women’s Euro Cup, Copa América Femenina, and Liga MX.
The MiEspanol genre plan includes more than 60 Spanish-language channels including Univision, TUDN, Galavision, and ESPN Deportes.
DIRECTV’s genre packs, which also include specific channel bundles for news, entertainment, kids, and sports, is only available to streaming customers, not satellite subscribers.

Thank you for the update,
Phillip, Has DirecTV given any indications that the recent additions will be available to Signature Package subscribers (Choice, Ultimate, Premier). We’re paying the most and missing out on the streaming services, not to mention C-SPAN3! If you hear anything, I know you’ll let us know.
BTW: I’m not that upset about the C-SPAN3 part, but I’m sure someone else is.
