HBO Max to Add 108 New Releases In June 2025 – Here Are the 3 to Watch

HBO Max this month (June 2025) will add 108 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

The Gilded Age (Season 3) – HBO Original
Release Date: June 22.
The HBO original series, which stars Carrie Coon, Cynthia Nixon, Morgan Spector and Christine Baranski, chronicles high society in New York during the boom times of the 1880s. If you like Downton Abbey, and similar fare, this is right up your Jay Gould alley. Show creators say season three will focus on the rise of divorce among the elite with Bill Camp and Leslie Uggams joining the cast. Season three premiere on June 22 with future episodes on Sunday nights until the season finale on August 10.

Cleaner (2025)

Release Date: June 13.
Daisy Ridley (Star Wars sequels) stars as a former British military officer whose low-key life as a window cleaner turns chaotic when her assigned building is taken over by a group of environmental radicals. Clive Owen (pictured above) plays the head of the activist group and that’s enough for me to stream in. Sounds like Inside Man meets Die Hard.

The Mortician – HBO Original

Release Date: June 1
The three-part documentary investigates a Pasadena, California funeral home accused of exploiting family grief (and possibly even killing a business rival) to maximize profits. Part two will air on June 8 with the series finale premiering June 15.
