DIRECTV’s MySports Now Has 72 Channels – Here’s the Complete List

TV Answer Man, I am confused by the MySports plan with DIRECTV. Could you provide some more details like the channels it has and so on? Thank you for your updates and alerts. – Todd, New Bern, North Carolina.

Todd, DIRECTV’s MySports plan, which costs $69.99 a month, includes 28 national sports and news channels. And today, DIRECTV added 20 regional sports networks to an add-on plan that costs an additional $19.99 a month.

The most important thing to know about MySports is that it’s not available as an option for the DIRECTV satellite audience. You must subscribe to the plan at DIRECTV Stream and watch the channels online using the DIRECTV app. Why is that? DIRECTV is targeting a younger audience which is more likely to cut the cord and watch TV via streaming.

Which Channels Does DIRECTV’s MySports Offer?
The base MySports plan includes 28 sports and news channels:

Which Regional Sports Networks Are In MyHome Team?
There are 20 RSNs available in market in the MyHome Team add-on plan. (The cost to add a local RSN is $19.99 a month.)

The big omissions here are NESN, the Yes Network, SNY and Spectrum SportsNet LA. But DIRECTV says it hopes to add more RSNs in the coming weeks and/or months.

In addition to the 28 national channels and RSNs, there are 17 free sports channels included in the lineup. (The channels are from DIRECTV’s free service, MyFree DIRECTV. You can watch them without subscribing to MySports.)

What Is DIRECTV’s MySports Extra Mini-Pack?
MySports subscribers can also add the MySports Extra Mini-Pack, which costs $12.99 a month. The MySports Extra plan includes seven sports channels:

Pursuit Channel
Sportsman Channel
Outdoor Channel
Willow TV

Add them up and DIRECTV’s MySports has 72 channels, although not all available in each market and some markets don’t have a RSN.
