Netflix to Add 108 New Titles In February – Here Are the 3 Most Interesting

The TV Answer Man – Follow me on X
Netflix next month (February 2025) plans to add 108 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three most interesting, in my humble opinion:
Zero Day – Netflix Original Series
Robert De Niro stars as a former president of the United States who investigates the secrets behind a crippling cyberattack while trying to shield some troubling personal secrets. This is De Niro’s first TV series and it’s a particularly interesting choice now since De Niro has been a frequent and outspoken critic of the man who was just elected president of the real United States, President Donald J. Trump. The grand actor tells Netflix’s Tudum that the show serves as a warning that a president in real life should not “play games. Be honest about what’s going on so that the public knows what’s going on.” Zero Day’s supporting cast is also impressive with Angela Bassett as the show’s current president; Jesse Plemons (who worked with De Niro in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon) as De Niro’s aide; Lizzy Caplan as a New York congresswoman; and Connie Britton as De Niro’s former chief of staff. Debuts February 20.
Apple Cider Vinegar – Netflix Original Series
Kaitlyn Dever (Justified, Dopesick) stars as a wellness expert who shocks the world by claiming to cure her brain cancer with a special diet. The problem is, she never actually had brain cancer. Based on a true story, Apple Cider Vinegar sounds like the perfect vehicle to highlight the superficiality of social media. And if you’re not familiar with Dever’s work, she’s an exciting actress who seems to get more interesting with every role. Debuts February 6.
Cobra Kai: Season 6 Part 3 (Series Finale) — Netflix Original Series
And speaking of prolonging one’s shelf life, this will be the third in three installments of the final season of the Karate Kid reboot. (Part two debuts last November.). Ralph Macchio and William Zabka are back in their original roles as karate rivals, Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, turned grown men who continue to live out their childhood ambitions through the younger set. Debuts February 13.
