Max to Add 87 New Titles This Week – Here Are the Highlights

Max, the streaming service formerly known as HBO Max, this week (January 26-February 1, 2025) plans to add 87 new TV shows and movies to its lineup.

The highlight of the week comes on Saturday (February 1) when Max will add roughly 80 movies including such classics as Malcom X, which stars Denzel Washington as the civil rights leader, and Taxi Driver, the Martin Scorsese-directed urban crime drama starring Robert De Niro as a disaffected cabbie in New York’s mean streets of the 1970s.

Max on Saturday will also add Jackie, an absorbing bio film with Natalie Portman as Jackie Kennedy, the wife of President Kennedy, and Speed, the action thriller with Keanu Reeves as a cop who must stop a madman (Dennis Hopper) from bombing a bus in Los Angeles.
