TV Answer Man, I’m assessing my TV options for baseball season this week. Do you know if Fubo and DIRECTV Stream have the Yes Network for the Yanks? Those are my top two choices. — Jamal, Trenton, New Jersey.

Jamal, DIRECTV Stream has carried the Yes Network for years and Fubo announced today that it has just added the regional TV home of the New York Yankees to its Pro base plan ($79.99 a month) and Elite package ($89.99 a month). The move comes just in time before today’s Yankees season opener against the Houston Astros at 4 p.m. ET. (Pre-game coverage starts at 3 p.m. ET.)

Before you subscribe, however, note that Fubo has a regional sports fee that could be as high as $14.99 a month in addition to the cost of a channel package. Also worth noting that Fubo is now taking $20 off the first month of a plan subscription.

DIRECTV Stream has the Yes Network in its $108.99 a month plan and above but it does not charge a regional sports fee. The DIRECTV streamer also is taking $10 off each of the first three months in a time-limited promotion.

Jamal, hope that helps. Happy viewing and stay safe!
