TV Answer Man, do you know if Amazon has a free trial for MLB TV on Amazon Prime? — Barry, Lima, Ohio.

Barry, Amazon’s Prime Video carries the MLB TV package of out-of-market regular season games for $29.99 a month or $129.99 for one team for the entire season. You can learn more about that here. But note that you will need an active Amazon Prime membership to sign up for an MLB.TV subscription on Prime Video Channels.

If you do have a Prime membership, Amazon is offering a free seven-day trial for MLB TV. The 2024 regular season begins today (March 28) but you can use the free trial at any time during the season. (You can use the free trial only once, however.) Learn more about the free trial here. You can also get a free seven-day trial directly at the MLB TV site.

Also note that MLB TV only includes out-of-market games, meaning that games considered in your market will be blacked out.

Barry, hope that helps. Happy viewing and stay safe!
