CBS, PBS, ABC, NBC, FOX Adding 16 Shows Tonight: The 3 to Watch
By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
CBS FOX, PBS, ABC, NBC and The CW tonight (March 31, 2026) will add 16 new shows. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern):
High Potential (New Episode)
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 9 p.m. ET
What Kind of Show: Drama/Comedy
Who’s In It: Kaitlin Olson, Daniel Sunjata
If you’re looking for a new show to love, check out High Potential, which was just renewed for season three. The show stars Kaitlin Olson as a genius single Mom (don’t all single Moms have to be geniuses?) who uses her exceptional brain power to help the local police solve crimes and Olson (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia) is very good in lead. Tonight, in a new episode, Morgan (Olson) investigates a series of private vault heists that lead to a citywide cyber attack that could devastate Los Angeles. (The writers must have put some Lion’s Mane in their coffee before writing this one.)
Best Medicine (New Episode)
Where to Watch: Fox
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
Who’s In It: Josh Charles, Annie Potts, Abigail Spencer
Josh Charles stars as Dr. Martin Best, a brilliant Boston doctor (there are only brilliant doctors in primetime TV) who moves to a small fishing village in Maine where comic hijinks and poignant pauses soon ensue. Charles (The Good Wife) is an amiable and amusing presence in this ‘fish out of water’ tale, if you’ll forgive the pun. In tonight’s new episode, Dr. Best dons a frowny face when the town welcomes a traveling delegation from Norway. Plus, Eliza Coupe guest stars as the doc’s ex.
Frontline (New episode)
Where to Watch: PBS
When to Watch: 10 p.m. (Check local listings)
The PBS doc team investigates Iran’s quest to build a nuclear weapon prior to this year’s U.S./Israeli attack on the country. The show promises fresh (and revelatory) info on how the attack has damaged Iran’s infrastructure and nuclear facilities. If you’ve been wondering why it now takes a bridge loan to pump your gas, this one is for you.
