DIRECTV will provide Apple TV’s 24-race F1 broadcasts, which begin the weekend of March 5-7, 2026, to bars and restaurants which subscribe to the company’s business plan.
The TV provider also will offer Apple TV’s Major League Soccer and Major League Baseball games to commercial venues, as it did in previous seasons.
In addition, for those who subscribe to Apple TV via DIRECTV (cost: $12,99 a month), DIRECTV will provide an Apple TV channel on its guide that will air the service’s live sports lineup, including F1, MLS and MLB. (The Apple TV subscription includes F1 races and MLS and MLB games for no extra charge this year.)
This will be the first year that Apple TV will have the exclusive U.S. rights to the F1 races which were previously available on ESPN. Apple TV’s coverage will include all live races, qualifying races and practice sessions.
Apple TV’s MLS broadcasts will begin this Saturday, February 21. The streamer will offer every match without blackout for free as part of the Apple TV subscription. After last season, the streamer ended the MLS Season Plan which required an extra fee to watch the games.
