Peacock to Add 95 New Releases This Week: The 3 to Watch

By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

Peacock this week (March 29-April 4, 2026) will add 95 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Reservoir Dogs (1992)
When to Watch: Tuesday, March 31
What Kind of Movie: Crime Drama
Who’s In It: Harvey Keitel, Steve Buscemi, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen

Director Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs announced to the world that a new cinematic genius had been born. Reservoir Dogs is ostensibly a bank robbery picture, but Tarantino’s collection of misfits (Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Steve Buscemi, Chris Penn, Michael Madsen) represent a unique stew of wry cultural observations (the opening scene could come from Seinfeld, if the Seinfeld cast was a collection of ruthless thieves), misguided loyalty, and strict adherence to the criminal code. And that makes Reservoir Dogs unlike any bank robbery picture you’ve ever seen.

Dazed And Confused (1993)
When to Watch: Wednesday, April 1
What Kind of Movie: Slice of Life Comedy
Who’s In It: Jason London, Matthew McConaughey, Parker Posey, Ben Affleck

The charming and now iconic 1993 comedy from director Richard Linklater focuses on the last day of school in a small Texas town. Linklater has a gift of making the small things in life seem larger than life and there’s no better showcase for his talents than this classic. The terrific ensemble cast includes Matthew McConaughey (whose role as a former student who can’t let go of the past was expanded by Linklater when he saw the young actor shine in the dailies); Jason London as the school’s reluctant QB1; Parker Posey as a senior looking for some freshman revenge; and a very young Ben Affleck as same. Fun movie!

No Country for Old Men (2007)
When to Watch: Wednesday, April 1
What Kind of Movie: Drama
Who’s In It: Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Tommy Lee Jones, Woody Harrelson
The Coen Brothers’ flawless neo-western stars Josh Brolin as a good old boy who stumbles upon a jackpot of money but is then pursued by a ruthless, coin-flipping killer, played deliciously by Javier Bardem. (And let’s not overlook the commanding performance of Tommy Lee Jones as the weather-beaten sheriff.) Joel and Ethan Coen have conspired to make cinema brilliance over the years with films such as Raising Arizona, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, and Miller’s Crossing. But there may be no better Coen Brothers film than No Country for Old Men. If you haven’t seen it, start streaming.

Note that Peacock also has four Major League Baseball games this week.
