CBS, ABC, Fox, NBC & CW Add 13 New Shows Tuesday Night: The 3 to Watch

Fox, The CW, NBC, CBS and ABC tonight (December 23, 2025) will add 13 new shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion.

The Kennedy Center Honors
Where to Watch: Paramount Plus
When to Watch: Tuesday, December 23, 8 p.m. ET
The Washington, D.C. based The Kennedy Center For the Performing Arts annually issues awards to performers for their lifetime achievements in the arts. Tonight’s ceremony, which was recorded earlier this month, will honor Sylvester Stallone (pictured above), KISS, Michael Crawford, George Strait and Gloria Gaynor. If you’re a fan of one of the honorees, you’ll love this show. It’s a love fest with plenty of clips and musical performances.

WWE NXT
Where to Watch: The CW
When: 8 p.m. ET
The oft-forgotten CW network tonight will broadcast a Women’s United States Championship match between the champion, Chelsea Green, and Sol Ruca. Wrasslin’ fans can also expected an action-packed undercard of both men and women. Oh, the humanity!

High Potential
Where to Watch: ABC
When: 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. ET
If you’re looking for a new show to love, check out High Potential which stars Kaitlin Olson as a genius single Mom (don’t all single Moms have to be geniuses?) who uses her exceptional brain power to help the local police solve crimes. Olson (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia) is very good in lead and ABC tonight will air episodes three and four of season one. If you like it, you can catch up with season one and the first seven episodes of season two on Hulu. ABC will debut S2, episode eight on January 6, 2025.

Sports fans, also note that NBC will have a NBA doubleheader tonight.

Late Night With Stephen Colbert (Guests: Sigourney Weaver, Mandy Patinkin) – 11:30 p.m.

NBA Basketball: Nuggets at Mavericks (8 p.m.)
NBA Basketball: Rockets at Clippers (10:30 p.m.)
The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon (Guest: Timothee Chalamet) – 1 a.m.

Fox
Murder In a Small Town – 8 p.m.
Doc – 9 p.m.

The CW
WWE NXT – 8 p.m.
