Fubo, the live streaming service, today has returned SportsNet New York (SNY) to its lineup after a two-year absence due to a carriage dispute.
The streamer lost the New York Mets channel in April 2024 when the two sides could not reach a new carriage pact. However, it is now live back in the Fubo lineup, a Fubo spokeswoman tells The TV Answer Man.
Fubo, which has been aggressive in the past few years in adding regional sports networks, also added the Los Angeles Dodgers’ SportsNet LA channel yesterday as well as 14 MLB (Major League Baseball) teams that were previously carried by RSNs. DIRECTV is the only other live streamer to carry SportsNet LA.
In related news, DIRECTV is expected today to officially announce that it will add the Atlanta Braves’ New BravesVision channel before today’s Opening Day game. Update: Fubo announces carriage deal for the Braves.
