DIRECTV’s free ad-supported streaming service, called MyFree DIRECTV, has added four new channels.
The four channels, all from Warner Bros. TV, are:
At the Movies (Channel 4510)
The channel features classic films from the 1970s, 80s and 90s.
Classic Cinema (Channel 4511)
Another movie channel, Classic Cinema features films from the ‘Golden Age of Hollywood,’ including great black and white movies and Technicolor films.
Primetime Soaps (Channel 4201)
The channel features classic TV soap operas.
The Repair Shop (Channel 4258)
The British show features a workshop where old artifacts and antiques are brought back to life.
How Do You Watch MyFree DIRECTV?
The service, which launched in November 2024 with about 70 channels, now has around 150 channels. It is available to both DIRECTV subscribers and non-DIRECTV consumers. You can watch the free channels by creating a DIRECTV account at DIRECTV.com and then going to the DIRECTV Stream app or this web page.
Why Did DIRECTV Start MyFree DIRECTV?
DIRECTV is hoping that MyFree DIRECTV will generate additional advertising revenue as well as attract potential customers who might subscribe to the pay TV service after coming to its site/app.
