Netflix to Add 20 Shows & Movies This Week: The 3 to Watch
By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
Netflix this week (March 22-28, 2026) will add 20 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:
MLB Baseball: Yankees at Giants
When to Watch: Wednesday, March 25, 8 p.m.
What Kind of Show: Baseball
Who’s In It: Aaron Judge, Elle Duncan
Netflix’s three-year deal to stream select regular season MLB games begins on Wednesday, March 25 with the 2026 Opening Night game between the New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants from picturesque Oracle Park in San Francisco. Former ESPNer Elle Duncan will host the telecast and news reports say Netflix has signed former Giants HR king Barry Bonds to ‘juice’ up the in-game analysis.
Anatomy Of a Fall (2023)
When to Watch: Monday, March 23
What Kind of Movie: Drama
Who’s In It: Sandra Huller, Swann Arlaud
Looking for a hidden gem? Sandra Huller stars as a novelist whose life becomes a legal nightmare when her husband is found dead from an apparent fall at their isolated chalet in the French Alps. The writer insists the fall was accidental but local authorities find evidence of marital strain which could implicate her. Anatomy Of a Fall, which was nominated for Best Picture, is a taut and thrilling depiction of the sometimes Kafkaesque nature of judicial proceedings, particularly in France where there are fewer protections for the accused. Huller (pictured above) is both sympathetic and suspicious in lead, keeping you guessing until the very end and perhaps even after that. This is a great, great movie! Watch it!
Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen (All eight episodes)
When to Watch: Thursday, March 26
What Kind of Show: Horror
Who’s In It: Camilla Morrone, Adam DiMarco
If you’ve been wondering what The Duffer Brothers (Matt and Ross) have been doing since wrapping Stranger Things, wonder no more. The pair are the executive producers behind creator Haley Z. Boston’s new horror miniseries starring Camila Morrone as a young bride-to-be who’s haunted by a mild sense that her marriage is doomed. Her fears escalate when her fiancé’s (Adam DiMarco) family starts to exhibit a certain Rosemary’s Baby-like behavior. The critics are raving about Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, calling it terrifying. Looks like The Duffer Brothers have scored again.
