Amazon, Netflix, Peacock, Hulu Adding 15 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBO Max, Peacock and Paramount Plus today (March 20, 2026) are adding 15 new TV shows and movies to their streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man (2026)
Where to Watch: Netflix
What Kind of Movie: Drama
Who’s In It: Cillian Murphy, Stephen Graham, Rebecca Ferguson
After six seasons of great episodic TV, Netflix is returning Peaky Blinders with a 112-minute movie again starring Cillian Murphy as British crime boss Tommy Shelby. The film picks up the story with Shelby in semi-exile in 1940 but the aging war lord still has some fight left in him when his nation is threatened by…the Nazis! Stephen Graham reprises his role as sidekick Hayden Stagg and Rebecca Ferguson and Barry Keoghan (as Shelby’s son) join the cast. (Keoghan and Murphy in the photo above.)
Wicked: For Good (2025)
When to Watch: Friday, March 20
What Kind of Movie: Fantasy Musical
Who’s In It: Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jeff Goldblum
If you watched last month’s Winter Olympics for even a few minutes, you are probably acutely aware that Peacock will exclusively stream Wicked: For Good this week; the NBC-operated streamer ran non-stop ads promoting the premiere. The sequel to the 2024 Wicked again stars Ariana Grande as Glinda the Good with her sidekick Cynthia Erivo as the green-faced Wicked Witch of the West. The plot involves animal rights and other trendy issues but it’s basically backdrop for the sing-alongs that cheered millions in the theaters. To replicate that theater experience, Peacock will offer a ‘sing-along’ version of the film as well as the original and a director’s commentary. And if that’s not enough, there will also be an accompanying documentary called, Defying Gravity: The Curtain Rises On Wicked.
The Rise of The Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brother, Hillel
Where to Watch: Netflix
What Kind of Show: Music Documentary
Who’s In It: Anthony Kiedis, Flea
The new Netflix doc chronicles the early days of the punk/rock band, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the influence of an early band member, Hillel Slovak, before his untimely death in 1988. Band mainstays Anthony Kiedis and Flea (No, not his real name, young readers) share their memories with archival footage. If you love the band, you’ll love the doc.
