TV Answer Man, do you expect that DIRECTV will add some new channels soon? It’s exciting when they do!! — Brit, Nashville.
Brit, DIRECTV carries arguably more channels than any pay TV provider. It’s actually difficult to think of many that it doesn’t carry although there are a few notables such as NBC Sports Philadelphia, the regional TV home of the Phillies, Flyers and 76ers. But DIRECTV has also been aggressive recently in adding new ad-supported ‘free’ channels to its streaming services. (They are called free because they are available on such free services as Pluto TV and Tubi.)
In fact, DIRECTV this week added Fox Weather, which is now available on streaming on channel 363. The channel is free to all DIRECTV subscribers of the Entertainment plan and above.
Fox Weather, a 24/7 weather service, also offers a simulcast each weekday morning on FOX Business Network from 5-6 a.m. ET and weekend mornings from 6-9 AM/ET, as well as via FOX Television Station Diginets in top markets including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, among others.
Brit, hope that helps. Happy viewing and stay safe!
