Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Paramount+ Adding 5 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

Netflix, Amazon’s Prime Video, HBO Max and Paramount Plus today (February 25, 2026) are adding five new TV shows and movies to their streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning (2023)
Where to Watch: Netflix
What Kind of Movie: Action/Drama
Who’s In It: Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell
The seventh installment in the action/adventure series starring Tom Cruise as secret agent Ethan Hunt  was released in theaters on July 12, 2023, generating nearly $600 million worldwide. And with good reason. The film is arguably the best MI yet with daredevil stunts and plot twists that defy the eyes and the senses. Cruise has never been better and the supporting cast, including series newcomer Hayley Atwell, is splendid. Get the big box of popcorn out for this one and enjoy.

Where to Watch: Amazon’s Prime Video
What Kind of Movie: Action/Thriller
Who’s In It: Priyanka Chopra, Karl Urban
Priyanka Chopra stars as a pirate named Bloody Mary who seeks a more peaceful life with her family on a remote island. But if your name is Bloody Mary, peace is likely not in the cards and the island is soon invaded by her bloodthirsty former captain (Karl Urban). Lots of action and swashbuckling if you like that sort of thing. (And many do.)

Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans
Where to Watch: Paramount Plus (Premium sub required)
What Kind of Show: Reality Competition
Who’s In It: Jeff Probst
The show that helped trigger the reality TV revolution will premiere its 50th season with cast members from Survivors past returning to play including Joe Hunter from season 48 Savannah Louie from season 49, and even Colby Donaldson from season two! (Colby is 51 now and you would think that surviving in real life would be enough for the old boy.)
