Paramount Plus Added 129 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

Paramount Plus today (February 1, 2026) added 129 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

68th Annual Grammy Awards (8 p.m. ET)
What Kind of Show: Awards Show
Who’s In It: Trevor Noah, Sabrina Carpenter

The music industry’s annual salute to itself will air tonight on CBS and Paramount Plus (for subscribers with the $13.99 a month Premium plan), starting at 8 p.m. ET. Sabrina Carpenter, Leon Thomas, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Olivia Dean, The Marías and Addison Rae are among the expected performers. Trevor Noah returns as host for the sixth and final time. Note: The president of the org that runs the Grammys is hinting the show could be part music, part political discussion, so don’t say we didn’t warn you if that kind of thing bothers you.

The Godfather and The Godfather, Part II (1972 and 1974 respectively, counting as one)
When to Watch: February 1
What Kind of Movies: Crime Drama
Who’s In It: Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton

Arguably the two greatest films ever, not just among those recently added to Paramount+. Director (and co-writer with Mario Puzo) Francis Ford Coppola paints a cinematic masterpiece in each film, chronicling the rise of the Corleone crime family from its early immigrant roots at the turn of the 20th Century to its powerful reign in 1950s and 60s America. The cast is one to die for, pun intended, with Marlon Brando somehow even eclipsing his greatest roles in the 1950s (On the Waterfront, A Streetcar Named Desire) as family head Vito Corleone and a here-to-then unknown named Al Pacino as his son, Michael Corleone, who’s corrupted by family loyalties and power. And there’s the supporting crew. James Caan. Robert Duvall. Diane Keaton. John Cazale. Sterling Hayden. Robert DeNiro (!). My goodness, I can talk about these movies all day long.

UFC Ultimate Knockouts (Season One)
What Kind of Show: Sports Documentary
Who’s In It: Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz

As part of its mega investment in the UFC, Paramount Plus will house live fights, and an exclusive archive of past matches and documentaries. So today (February 1), the streamer has added season one of UFC Ultimate Knockouts featuring mixed martial arts legends such as Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture and Victor Belfort.
