Disney/Hulu: Why Pay $9.99 When You Can Get It For $4.99?

By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

TV Answer Man, I saw a few articles this week that said the Disney-Hulu bundle plan is $9.99 a month now as a discount deal. But didn’t you say it’s cheaper than that now? What gives? – Cheryl, Roanoke, Virginia.

Cheryl, thank you for bringing this to my attention. You’re right. Several publications have written articles in the last week that say that the ads-included Disney Plus/Hulu bundle is available at a discount for $9.99 for one month. (The regular price is $12.99 a month.) I suspect they have reported this because the $3 discount is advertised on the DisneyPlus.com web site.

However, the pubs may not be aware that I reported two weeks ago that a different Disney web page is now selling the bundle for $4.99 a month for three months, a 61 percent discount over that time period.

To redeem the $24 discount, go to this web page and insert the code, KBAXYXZVJWZY and then click the ‘Come Back Now’ button.

This is another example of how reading the TVAnswerMan.com will save you money – more money than you will save from other web sites.

Note that the regular $12.99 a month rate for the Disney+/Hulu ads-included bundle will apply if you don’t cancel prior to the end of the three month $4.99 promotional period. You may cancel your membership at any time; there is no obligation to subscribe for the entire three months.

The discount offer, which expires on June 9, 2026 at 3 p.m, ET, is good for new and eligible returning subscribers.

Hulu offers a mix of original programming such as Tell Me Lies and FX’s Alien: Earth, and licensed content from studios and networks.

Disney Plus carries a large library of Disney shows and movies as well as programming from Disney owned channels. The bundle also includes select live sports from the Disney-owned ESPN.

Here are the terms of agreement for the $4.99 offer:

“Savings compared to the then-current regular monthly price of Disney+, Hulu Bundle. Offer applies to ad-supported Disney+, Hulu Bundle plan. Redeem by 12:00 PM PST on 06/09/2026. Valid only for subscribers with no current active entitlement to any Disney+, Hulu, and/or ESPN plan. 18+ only. Upon redeeming this offer, you will be enrolled in an auto-renewing subscription of Disney+, Hulu Bundle and you will be charged the then-current retail price ($12.99/month (plus tax, where applicable)) on a monthly basis beginning at the end of your 3-month promotional offer unless you cancel your subscription before then. Cancel anytime, through your account settings or by contacting us, effective at the end of your billing period. Additional terms apply.”

Cheryl, I hope that answers your question. Happy viewing and stay safe!
