Fox, NBC, CW, ABC, CBS Add 18 Shows Sunday Night: The 3 to Watch

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

Fox, CBS, ABC, The CW and NBC tonight (January 25, 2026) will add 18 shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern.)

NFL Football: Rams at Seahawks (NFC Championship)
Where to Watch: Fox
When to Watch: 6:30 p.m.
Who’s In It: Sam Darnold, Matthew Stafford

The Seattle Seahawks are a 2.5-point favorite to defeat the Los Angeles Rams in tonight’s 2025 NFC Championship game. (The game will be played at Lumen Field in Seattle.) ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives Seattle a narrow 53.8 percent chance of winning. Expect an exciting shootout with Seattle QB Sam Darnold and LA QB Matthew Stafford leading the way. 4K fans, note that Fox will offer the game in upscale 4K on the Fox One app and select TV providers. See this article for more details.

Memory Of a Killer (Premiere Episode)
Where to Watch: Fox
When to Watch: 10 p.m. (Start time could be later based on NFL game length)
What Kind of Show: Drama
Who’s In It: Patrick Dempsey, Michael Imperioli

Following the NFC title game, Fox execs are giving a tush push to this new dramatic series starring Patrick Dempsey as a hitman in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. The football lead-in should guarantee a BIG audience. Dempsey, perhaps best known as the ‘sexiest man alive’ from his turn in the soapy Grey’s Anatomy, gets a chance to show his serious acting chops here. Michael Imperioli, who played Christopher in The Sopranos, supports as the hitman’s employer and longtime friend. Will Memory of a Killer hit its mark or misfire? Tune in.

60 Minutes (New Episode)
Where to Watch: CBS
When to Watch: 7 p.m.
Who’s In It: Anderson Cooper, Sharyn Alfonsi

The 60 Minutes execs are no dummies; they are not about to schedule one of their patented investigative pieces against an NFC title game. So instead, we will get fresh interviews with three Hollywood stars: Timothee Chalamet, Kate Winslet and Jamie Lee Curtis. If you hate football (hate football? What’s wrong with you?!) but love movies, this one is for you.
