Hulu to Add 19 New Releases This Week – Here Are the 3 to Watch

Hulu this week (December 7-13, 2025) plans to add 19 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Percy Jackson and the Olympians (Disney Original) – Season Two
Release Date: December 10
Walker Scobell stars as young Percy Jackson who must locate Zeus’ lost thunderbolt to restore order in mythological Greece. The popular teen/tween show, which will also debut on Disney+, will follow Percy in season two as he enters the Sea of Monsters to find the Golden Fleece!

Plane (2023)
Release Date: Friday, December 12
Gerard Butler (pictured above) stars as a commercial pilot who must team with a suspected murderer (Mike Colter) to fight off a hostile army when his plane crashes. Fast-paced and well-done action thriller. A real hidden gem.

Kevin Costner Presents: The First Christmas
Release Date: Wednesday, December 10
‘Tis the season so buckle up for the annual onslaught of holiday specials; some good, some bad. But this one looks worthwhile. Kevin Costner hosts a depiction of the hardships endured by Joseph and Mary before and after the birth of Jesus. Regardless of your religious views, this also serves as a tribute to all parents who must make sacrifices every day, and sometimes, every hour of the day.
