Can You Watch Kiefer Sutherland’s 24 On Streaming? Is the Show Returning?

Remember 24, the heart-pumping Fox action series which starred Kiefer Sutherland as counter-terrorism agent Jack Bauer? The show, which ran for nine seasons from 2001 to 2014, became a ratings hit and cultural touchstone for its unflinching (albeit sometimes unrealistic and even cartoonish) portrayal of the sacrifices that special government agents make to keep our nation safe.

Well, if you were a fan of 24, you’ll be happy to hear that Sutherland and 24 showrunner Howard Gordon say they are working on the show’s return. “It’s absolutely in process,” Gordon says.

Sutherland has agreed to return as agent Bauer and the actor says he’s excited about the recently written script for a tenth season. No word on when it could debut so we’ll keep our eyes open for updates.

Until 24 does come back, you can now watch the first nine seasons of 24 on Hulu as part of the streamer’s subscription Video on Demand plan. Also note that we reported yesterday that Hulu now has a 30-day free trial, perhaps not enough time to watch nine seasons, but you can get started.
