Comcast has added the new NBC Sports Network to its Sports & News, Popular TV and Ultimate TV plans.
The 24/7 channel, which launched on YouTube TV on November 17, offers a variety of live sports and related sports programming now found on its streaming service, Peacock.
If you don’t have Peacock, NBC Sports Network is a great way to get the streamer’s live sportscasts although it will not carry all of Peacock’s sports lineup. (One major exception: NBC Sports Network will not air Peacock’s exclusive NFL game on Saturday, December 27, 2025.)
However, it does carry top events such as Monday Night NBA games and NBA Playoffs; MLB regular season and playoff games; and Premier League soccer matches.
YouTube TV and Comcast are now the only two TV providers that carry the NBC Sports Network, which is owned by NBCUniversal, owned and operated by Comcast. DIRECTV has told The TV Answer Man that it is negotiations to carry the channel.
The channel returned this month after a four-year absence.
