The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
The NBC Sports Network officially returned to the air today around 12:30 p.m. ET after a four-year absence. The channel is currently an exclusive on YouTube TV.
The first NBC Sports Network show that aired on YouTube TV was The Dan LeBatard Show With Stugotz.
Pro Football Talk Live is scheduled to air next followed by Fantasy Football Happy Hour With Matthew Berry, NBA on NBC Highlights, NBA Showtime and the Milwaukee Bucks at Cleveland Cavaliers game at 7 p.m. ET.
The 24/7 channel will offer a variety of live sports and related sports programming now found on its streaming service, Peacock.
If you don’t have Peacock, NBC Sports Network will be a great way to get the streamer’s live sportscasts although it will not carry all of Peacock’s sports lineup. However, it will have such top events as Monday Night NBA games and NBA Playoffs; MLB regular season and playoff games; and Premier League soccer matches.
NBC says the channel will be added later to Comcast’s Xfinity TV service although it hasn’t provided a specific date. DIRECTV tells The TV Answer Man that it is in discussions to add the channel.
