Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, HBO Max & Peacock to Add 27 New Releases This Weekend – Here Are the 4 to Watch

Netflix, Peacock, Hulu, HBO Max and Amazon’s Prime Video this weekend (June 19-22, 2025) plans to add 27 new TV episodes and movies to their streaming lineups, Here are the four to watch:

Poker Face, Season Two (New Episode) – Peacock
Natasha Lyonne stars in this Peacock original comedy/drama about a former casino employee who’s basically a human lie detector; she can spot someone lying lickety split. And using her unique skills, she’s able to solve a murder mystery in 60 minutes or less. Call it a modern day Columbo, Poker Face is a delight thanks to Lyonne’s charming performance, an exceptional lineup of guest stars, and show creator Rian Johnson‘s clever crafting. New episode will debut on Thursday, June 19.

The Gilded Age (Season 3 Premiere) – HBO Max Original
The HBO original series, which stars Carrie Coon (pictured above), Cynthia Nixon, Morgan Spector and Christine Baranski, chronicles high society in New York during the boom times of the 1880s. If you like Downton Abbey, and similar fare, this is right up your Jay Gould alley. Show creators say season three will focus on the rise of divorce among the elite with Bill Camp (Presumed Innocent) and Leslie Uggams joining the cast. Season three will premiere on HBO Max on Sunday, June 22 with future episodes on Sunday nights until the season finale on August 10.

The Quiet Ones (2024) – Hulu
The 2024 heist film follows a group of robbers who pilfer tens of millions of dollars from Danish banks. Also based on a real life story, The Quiet Ones received mixed reviews, but could be worth a ride if you’re a fan of the genre. Debuts on Hulu on Thursday, June 19.

The Chosen: Last Supper Season 5 – Amazon’s Prime Video

The Christian historical dramatic series has become an international sensation for its intense and realistic portrayal of Jesus. Season five, which debuted episodes one and two on Sunday (June 15), will continue Sunday (June 22) with three more episodes. Then, the final three episodes will premiere on Sunday, June 29. This season is focusing on the events leading up to The Last Summer which preceded the crucifixion of Jesus.
