DIRECTV has added Gusto TV to its lineup of free channels on MyFree DIRECTV.
Gusto TV features culinary-themed programming including The Wizard of Sauce, Flour Power Holiday Specials, Watts Up For the Holidays, Spencer’s Holiday BBQ and Generation Cooks. The channel is designed to help home cooks find new creative ways to make meals.
“Our mission has always been to share a world of flavor with audiences everywhere,” Chris Knight, President and CEO of Gusto Worldwide Media, said in a press release. “Partnering with DIRECTV allows us to reach more viewers than ever before and introduce them to the rich culinary storytelling that makes Gusto TV stand out.”
DIRECTV yesterday announced that it will soon add a new free movie channel in cooperation with the Lionsgate studio.
What Is MyFree DIRECTV?
MyFree DIRECTV, which started with 70 channels in November 2024, now has more than 100 channels and is expected to add more channels in the coming weeks and months. DIRECTV is hoping that MyFree DIRECTV will generate additional advertising revenue as well as attract potential customers who might subscribe after coming to its site/app.
Who Can Watch DIRECTV’s Free Service?
MyFree DIRECTV is available to both DIRECTV subscribers and non-DIRECTV consumers and includes both live channels and on-demand programming. You can watch the free channels by creating a DIRECTV account at DIRECTV.com and then going to the DIRECTV Stream app or this web page.
