Amazon’s Prime Video this week (November 30-December 6, 2025) plans to add 38 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:
Bullet Train (2022)
Release Date: December 3
Brad Pitt (pictured above) stars in this comedy/action movie about a group of assassins who board a bullet train in Tokyo with conflicting reasons to kill their marks. The ensemble cast includes Joey King, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Sandra Bullock and Brian Tyree Henry. The critical response was mixed but those who liked it, loved it. “Bullet Train is a fun flick, to be sure, reminiscent of director Guy Ritchie’s better crime comedies such as “The Gentlemen” with Hugh Grant. But, as the title suggests, it’s louder and faster,” wrote the New York Post.
Thursday Night Football: Dallas Cowboys at Detroit Lions
Release Date: Thursday, December 4, 7:00 p.m. ET pre-game show; kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET.
Amazon, which just celebrated Black Friday with a big-time matchup between the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles (won by the Bears, 24-15), has another winner this Thursday night: Dallas at Detroit. The resurgent Cowboys (6-5-1) have thrust themselves into the playoff hunt while Detroit needs a win after losing to the Packers on Thanksgiving day.
Good Sports
Release Date: Tuesday, December 2
Kenan Thompson and Kevin Hart continue their sports talk show series, casting a funny eye (well, four eyes) at the week’s top games with interviews and other miscellaneous filler.
