Mar. 31: Netflix, Peacock, Disney, Hulu Adding 25 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, HBO Max, Paramount Plus and Peacock today (March 31, 2026) are adding 25 new TV shows and movies to their streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Untold: The Death and Life Of Lamar Odom
Where to Watch: Netflix
What Kind of Show: Sports Documentary
Who’s In It: Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian

Former NBA star Lamar Odom has suffered 12 stokes, kidney failure, six heart attacks and once was placed in a medically induced coma. He also was married to a Kardashian (Khloe) and won two championships as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. This Netflix original documentary, which features interviews with the now 46-year-old Odom, chronicles his incredible and reckless journey which still includes treatment for various addictions. Lucky to be alive, Odom tries to explain the demons that still burn inside him.

Silver Linings Playbook (2012)
Where to Watch: Peacock
What Kind of Movie: Comedy/Drama
Who’s In It: Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro

Bradley Cooper (pictured above with Jennifer Lawrence) shines in this David O. Russell comedy/drama film as a bipolar teacher named Pat who loses his grip on reality after seeing his wife having sex with a fellow teacher. Once out of a mental institution, Pat attempts to rebuild his life but is soon thrown a curve by a curvaceous young widow (Jennifer Lawrence) whose hold on reality is equally suspect. Cooper and Lawrence are wonderful together in this dysfunctional romcom and Robert De Niro is a hoot as Pat’s mentally uncertain father who lives and dies with the hometown Philadelphia Eagles. Silver Linings Playbook is a great movie that will make you smile, laugh and cry.

Reservoir Dogs (1992)
Where to Watch: Peacock
What Kind of Movie: Crime Drama
Who’s In It: Harvey Keitel, Steve Buscemi, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen

Director Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs announced to the world that a new cinematic genius had been born. Reservoir Dogs is ostensibly a bank robbery picture, but Tarantino’s collection of misfits (Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Steve Buscemi, Chris Penn, Michael Madsen) represent a unique stew of wry cultural observations (the opening scene could come from Seinfeld, if the Seinfeld cast was a collection of ruthless thieves), misguided loyalty, and strict adherence to the criminal code. And that makes Reservoir Dogs unlike any bank robbery picture you’ve ever seen.
