Hulu on Sunday (June 1, 2025) will add 63 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

7 Alien Movies (Counting as One)
If you love sci-fi, Sunday is for you, Hulu subscribers. The streamer is adding seven Alien movies including the 1979 original directed by the great Ridley Scott. Sigourney Weaver’s portrayal of Ripley here is a tour de force, showcasing both vulnerability and resilience in the face of unimaginable horror. The meticulous attention to detail in the production design, combined with a smart and suspenseful script, keeps viewers on the edge of their seats throughout the film. And be prepared to look away at the lunch scene. You know the one.

The Girl Next Door (2004)
Emile Hirsch stars as a studious high school senior whose life turns upside down when a beautiful adult industry star (Elisha Cuthbert, pictured above) moves in next door. This 2004 film is a sweet, underrated comedy that has an occasional dark side in the person of Cuthbert’s pimp, played with evil flourish by Timothy Olyphant. Both Hirsch and Cuthbert are charming and the supporting cast (Olyphant, Paul Dano, Olivia Wilde, James Remar) came ready with some fun over-the-top performances.

We’re the Millers (2013)
The comedy film stars Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso, SNL) as a drug dealer who creates a fake family to help transport a large shipment of marijuana to Mexico. Jennifer Aniston plays the ‘Mom.’ Not a classic, but still an amusing diversion thanks to the leads. You won’t regret streaming in.
