Amazon’s Prime Video this week (May 19-25, 2025) plans to add three new releases. Here’s the one to watch and a description of the other two new titles coming this week.

Earnhardt – Amazon Original Documentary
Release Date: May 22, 29
Amazon will unveil a four-part documentary on NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt, Sr. who dominated the circuit for two decades until he died in a three-car crash during the Daytona 500 in 2001. The doc will examine Earnhardt’s aggressive style of driving – and living – as well as allegations that a faulty seat belt contributed to his demise. The first two episodes will debut on May 22 while the final two will be available on May 29. Note that Amazon Prime Video will be the exclusive carrier of five NASCAR races this year starting with the May 25 Coca-Cola 600 race at 6 p.m. ET at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
