Paramount Plus to Remove 20 Movies In 6 Days – Here Are the 3 to Watch Before They Leave

The TV Answer Man = Follow me on X.
Paramount Plus plans to remove 20 movies from its streaming lineup after April 30, 2025. Here are the three to watch before they leave, in my humble opinion:
The Big Short (2015)
The Big Short chronicles how the real estate bubble and Wall Street shenanigans triggered the U.S. financial crisis in 2008. The fantastic ensemble cast includes Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt and Jeremy Strong. Adam McKay directs and was the co-writer. Sharp, insightful and damn funny.
Directed by Steven Spielberg, Saving Private Ryan stars Tom Hanks as the captain of a World War II unit which must find a single soldier (Matt Damon) while navigating the horrors of war. There’s never been a better film on the sacrifice and unselfishness of America’s military and Hanks is especially good in lead. And the first 15 minutes, which depicts the D-Day invasion, immerses the viewer in battle unlike any scene before or since.
