Pluto TV Has 27 Free Movie Channels – Here’s the Complete List

TV Answer Man, my friend told me about Pluto TV and she said they have a lot of movies. Do you know anything about this? What movie channels do they have? – MaryAnn, Chincoteague, Virginia. 

MaryAnn, Pluto TV, which is operated by the Paramount streaming division of Paramount Global, is a free, ads-supported streaming service. Boasting more than 250 live free channels, Pluto TV can be viewed online here or via an app on Smart TVs and streaming devices such as Roku, Amazon’s Fire TV and Apple TV, among others.

The TV Answer Man last year wrote about Pluto TV’s impressive free sports lineup which included channels from Major League Baseball and the National Football League. But the free streamer also takes movies seriously with 27 different channels playing movies 24/7.

The cinematic lineup includes a channel (Pluto Rocky & Creed) devoted to films in the Rockyverse, meaning Sylvester Stallone-starring classics such as Rocky and Rocky II as well as the Creed series which stars Michael B. Jordan; four channels devoted to films from specific decades (1970s, 80s, 90s and 00s); genre-specific channels such as comedy, drama, westerns, horror, terror, romance, thrillers and action; and even a channel devoted to staff picks, films the Pluto team is particularly fond of.

Although the films include occasional ads, there is a feast of choices for any cinematic buff. While I was writing this, the lineup included Michael Mann’s Ali on Pluto Icons; Ridley Scott’s Gladiator on Pluto Action; Steven Spielberg’s A.I: Artificial Intelligence on Pluto Fantastic; and Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction on Pluto Crime Movies.

Just great stuff. And, yes, they are all free. You don’t even have to register to watch. I highly recommend it.
