Sling TV, the multi-channel, live streaming service owned by Dish Network, is now available for just $20 for the first month. In addition, Sling is throwing in a free month of AMC+ with the offer.
The $20 first month rate is currently 50 percent off the regular price for its base Blue or Orange plan. Sling TV plans to raise the price of each base plan to $45.99 a month on December 20. However, if you subscribe now, you will only have to pay $20 for the first month. The regular rate, which will be $45.99 a month after December 20, will apply if you don’t cancel prior to the end of the first month.
The $20 discount plus the free AMC+ for one month is only available to new users of Sling TV.
Sling TV is able to offer lower prices than most of its live streaming rivals such as YouTube TV (base price is $82.99 a month) and Hulu (base price is also $82.99 a month) because its plans include fewer channels and no regional sports networks.
So to better understand what you would get if you subscribe to Sling, below is a list of the channels that are in their Blue and Orange base plans.
