Netflix next month (November 2024) plans to add 91 TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three most interesting new titles, in my humble opinion:

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson – Netflix Exclusive
Boxing legend and AARP-eligible Mike Tyson (he’s 58) is scheduled to fight influencer turned pugilist Jake Paul in an eight-round (two minutes each) fight streamed live and exclusive on Netflix on November 15, 2024. The bout was scheduled to be live streamed by Netflix in July but Iron Mike fell ill on an airplane due to an ulcer flare up so it was postponed. All indicators are that it will be held as now scheduled but things happen in boxing, particularly when one of the participants is 58. Debuts November 15.

Cobra Kai: Season 6 Part 2 — Netflix Series
And speaking of prolonging one’s shelf life, this will be the second in three installments of the final season of the Karate Kid reboot. (Part three of season six is scheduled for 2025.). Ralph Macchio and William Zabka are back in their original roles as karate rivals, Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, turned grown men who continue to live out their childhood ambitions through the younger set. Debuts November 15.

Emilia Perez (2024)
Selena Gomez, Edgar Ramirez and Zoe Saldana star in this musical comedy about a drug cartel chief who fakes her own demise so she can live a normal life. That may sound like a crazy concept for a musical comedy, but the film captured the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and there’s Oscar talk in the air.  So take that. Debuts November 13.
