Peacock, the NBCUniversal-operated streaming service with plans starting at $5.99 a month, plans to remove 24 TV shows and movies this month (June 2024). Here is the one title you should definitely watch before it leaves, in my humble opinion:

Oppenheimer (2023)
Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer opened in theaters last summer and it certainly wasn’t a bomb. The film, which generated rave reviews from critics and theatergoers, made roughly $1 billion worldwide. Oppenheimer stars Cillian Murphy as the brilliant but troubled scientist, J. Robert Oppenheimer, who led the U.S. mission to build the first atomic bomb. But the film is overflowing with great supporting performances from such top talents as Robert Downey, Jr., Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, Florence Pugh, Josh Harnett and Gary Oldman. When critics begin assembling new lists of the best films of all time, Oppenheimer is sure to be included in the top 10 of many. It’s a master work from Chris Nolan who previously produced such classics as The Dark Knight, Inception and Memento.
