TV Answer Man, two questions for you. What is the easiest and cheapest way to watch the Olympics this summer? And will it be in 4K? — Jamal, Sacramento.

Jamal, the 2024 Summer Olympics from Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11. NBC has the exclusive broadcast rights in the United States which means the games will air on NBC, Peacock, Telemundo, Universo, USA Network, E!, CNBC and the Golf Channel.

However, the easiest way to watch (without channel hopping) will be Peacock which will stream every event live. Even better, Peacock is now offering a special deal for fans looking forward to seeing all the action as it happens.

Between now and June 30, you can subscribe to Peacock’s ads-included Premium plan for just $19.99 for one year. That comes to $1.66 a month, which is $4.33 off the regular monthly price. You can see the details here. The regular price for Peacock Premium is $59.99 a year.

Note that regular prices will apply after the 12 months are over unless you cancel. In addition, you will not receive a refund if you cancel prior to the end of the term. You will pay the $19.99 whether you cancel or not.

One more point: Peacock on July 18 is raising its monthly base price from $5.99 a month to $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year to $79.99 a year. So you can lock in this special annual rate now.

On your second question, NBC has not announced whether the Olympics will be available in 4K.

Jamal, hope that helps. Happy viewing and stay safe!
