HBO Max today (July 1) has added 60 new movies to its streaming lineup.
The new films include Last Night in Soho, director Edgar Wright’s 2021 psychological drama starring Thomasin McKenzie as a fashion designer wannabe who manages to project herself into London’s swinging 60s where she encounters a flashy singer wannabe (Anya Taylor-Joy) and mysterious hijinks ensue; Indecent Proposal, the 1993 drama starring Robert Redford as a wealthy industrialist who offers a happily married couple a large sum of money to sleep with the wife (Demi Moore); This Is Elvis, the uneven but still interesting documentary on the King of Rock n Roll; and Bringing Out the Dead, the 1999 Martin Scorsese (not his best, but still worth watching) starring Nicolas Cage as a burned-out ambulance driver.
