TV Answer Man, I want to watch tonight’s March Madness final but it’s not on CBS. Is there any way to watch the game without having pay for a subscription? – Jamal, Sacramento, California.
Jamal, Michigan tonight (April 6) will play UConn in the 2026 men’s college basketball tournament final, better known as March Madness. The game will tip off at 8:50 p.m. ET and air on the three Turner Sports networks, TBS, TNT and truTV.
Many fans, particularly cord cutters, have expressed concern that Saturday’s Final Four and tonight’s championship contest is not available on CBS, which can be watched for free with an antenna. Fubo subscribers are also miffed because their TV provider does not carry the Turner Sports channels.
But here is an easy and free way to watch tonight’s game:
Subscribe to DIRECTV streaming. The service, which carries the three Turner Sports networks, offers a free five-day trial. So you can sign up today, watch the game and cancel anytime in the next four days without paying a dime. Seriously, it can’t get easier than that.
Jamal, I hope that answers your question. Happy viewing and stay safe!
