The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

CBS PBS, FOX, ABC, NBC and The CW tonight (March 27, 2026) will add 16 shows. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern):

Dateline NBC (New episode)
Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 9 p.m.
Who’s In It: Savannah Guthrie, Hoda, Kotb

Dateline will devote the first hour of its two-hour time slot tonight to a fresh report on the disappearance of the mother of Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie. The segment will include an interview with Savannah as well as new findings from local and federal law enforcement. In case you’re not familiar with the case, the 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie disappeared without a trace from her Arizona home on January 31, 2026.

March Madness Doubleheader
Where to Watch: CBS
When to Watch: 7:10 p.m.
Who’s In It: Duke, St. John’s, Michigan State, UConn

The Sweet Sixteen of college basketball’s annual tournament continues tonight with a doubleheader on CBS (and Paramount Plus). St. John’s plays number one seed Duke at 7:10 p.m. ET while UConn faces Michigan State at approximately 9:45 p.m. The winners will advance to Sunday’s Elite Eight.

20/20 (New episode)
What Kind of Show: True Crime
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 9 p.m.

The investigative team at 20/20 will get two hours tonight to report on the 2010 murder of a Minnesota woman by what her husband said was a masked intruder who also shot him in the leg. Years and years passed while the hubbie remarried and moved on with his life. That is, until the second wife discovered a secret in his sock’s drawer that suggested he might be a heel!
