Netflix to Add 20 New Releases This Week: The 3 to Watch

Netflix this week (March 2-8, 2026) will add 20 TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

The Bling Ring (2013)
When to Watch: Tuesday, March 3
What Kind of Movie: Drama/Satire
Who’s In It: Emma Watson, Katie Chang

In 2008-2009, a group of entitled, amoral, bratty (throw in a few more adjectives of your choice) LA teenagers targeted the homes of celebrities such as Paris Hilton for home burglaries. Over two years, they pilfered roughly $3 million in cash and goods. The story, which perfectly personified the nihilistic culture that had taken root in many upper class communities, is the subject of director Sofia Coppola’s brilliant The Bling Ring. The film, which stars Emma Watson, Katie Chang and several other talented young actors, is a cautionary tale about parental indifference and the dangers of social media.

Nuremberg (2025)
When to Watch: Saturday, March 7
What Kind of Movie: Psychological Drama
Who’s In It: Russell Crowe, Rami Malek

And speaking of nihilistic amoralism, Russell Crowe stars as Hermann Goring, the German military officer who served as Adolf Hitler’s right-hand man in World War II. The film chronicles Goring’s arrest following the war and a U.S. Army officer’s (Rami Malek) investigation of his psychiatric condition prior to the Nuremberg trials. If you forgot just how commanding Russell Crowe can be on screen, you’ll be quickly reminded by his performance here. His portrayal of the bloodless Goring is as scary as anything you’ll ever see in a horror film. Malek is also good as the Army officer who struggles to understand what turned a human into a monster.

Gabby’s Dollhouse (Season 13)
When to Watch: Monday, March 2
What Kind of Show: Animated Children’s
Who’s In It: Laila Lockhart Kramer

If you have a little one at home, I strongly recommend plunking the kid in front of the set for a few episodes (or more) of Gabby’s Dollhouse. The animated show, which features a young girl named Gabby (Laila Lockhart Kramer) and her magical cats, is a delight for eyes and ears and is guaranteed to entertain and inform. Trust me on this; you won’t regret it. (Just be prepared if your kid starts begging for a kitten of his or her own.)
