NBC, CBS, CW, Fox, ABC Adding 13 Shows Friday Night: The 3 to Watch

Fox, NBC, CW, CBS and ABC tonight (February 27, 2026) will add 13 new shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern.)

College Basketball
Where to Watch: Fox
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
Who’s In It: Yaxel Landeborg, Keaton Wagler
Third ranked Michigan invades 10th ranked Illinois’ State Farm Center in a pivotal Big Ten battle. Michigan is led by senior Yaxel Landeborg who’s scoring 14.2 points a game while Illinois is paced by freshman Keaton Wagler who’s pumping in 18.2 points per contest. Should be a tight one; ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives Illinois a 51.5 percent chance of winning.

20/20 (New episode)
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 9 p.m.
Who’s In It: David Muir, Deborah Roberts
The true crime team investigates the ‘Yogurt Shop Murders,’ the brutal killing of four teenage girls in Austin, Texas in 1991. The case was ice cold for more than three decades, but law enforcement may have new evidence linking the horrific crime to a serial killer. A dead serial killer.

Stumble (New episode) 
Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 8:30 p.m.
Who’s In It: Taran Killam, Jenn Lyon
Did you like The Office? Parks and Recreation? Then you will probably like Stumble, a mockumentary-style comedy about a cheerleading team at a West Texas junior college. The talented cast includes former SNL cast member Taran Killam as a local college football coach and Jenn Lyon as the cheerleading coach. In tonight’s new episode, Coach Courteney (Lyon) must raise funds for the squad’s trip to Daytona so she makes a deal with a mysterious figure called, ‘The Buttonmeister.’
