ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CW Adding 13 Shows Tonight: The 3 to Watch

ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox and The CW tonight (February 17, 2026) will add 13 shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern.)

John & Carolyn: Love, Beauty & Loss (New)
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 10 p.m.
Who’s In It: Paul Anthony Kelly, Sarah Pidgeon
Disney is going all out to support the new FX miniseries on the romance of John Kennedy, Jr. and socialite Carolyn Bessette with this one-hour ABC documentary on the tragic pair. The show will feature interviews with the couple’s friends, fashion designers and journalists (of course) as well as the actors (Paul Anthony Kelly, Sarah Pidgeon) who play the two in the FX show. (The FX scripted show, called Love Story: John F. Kennedy, Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, is now available on Disney’s Hulu.)

When to Watch: 8 p.m.
Who’s In It: Josh Charles, Annie Potts, Abigail Spencer
Josh Charles stars as Dr. Martin Best, a brilliant Boston doctor (there are only brilliant doctors in primetime TV) who moves to a small fishing village in Maine where comic hijinks soon ensue. Charles (The Good Wife) is an amiable and amusing presence in this ‘fish out of water’ tale, if you’ll forgive the pun. In tonight’s new episode, a corpse is found in the town bog and Dr. Martin declares it’s a murder! (The show’s ratings will likely get killed tonight, too, but kudos to Fox for daring to air a new episode against the Olympics.)

Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
NBC’s exclusive primetime coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics continues tonight with highlights and recorded events from Bobsled, Alpine Skiing, Ski Jumping, Curling, Hockey and Freestyle Skiing. If you didn’t get a chance to watch earlier today on Peacock, this is a great way to catch up. Just be careful of spoilers from those who love to spoil.
