HBO Max to Add 9 New Releases This Week: The One to Watch

HBO Max this week (February 9-14, 2026) will add nine new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here’s the one to watch, in my humble opinion:

Who’s In It: Neighbors
The new HBO doc series (6 episodes to air weekly) will eyes-drop on real-life warring neighborhood factions as they battle over animal rights, property boundaries and anything else you got. The producers hatched the idea after watching endless YouTube videos of neighbors battling over seemingly trivial troubles during Covid. With a production team that includes the brilliant Josh Safdie (Marty Supreme), Neighbors will likely be the talk of the town as well as in the chosen neighborhoods.

HBO Max this week will also debut a new season of John Oliver’s acerbic (and sometimes comedic) commentary, Russell Crowe’s slumming horror film, The Pope’s Exorcist, and season two of the romance series, Like Water For Chocolate. New episodes of Industry and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms are also on tap for Sunday.
